In the interest of community health and in regard to the COVID-19 pandemic, MaineGeneral has made the decision to cancel all gatherings and events until further notice to prevent and limit the potential spread of COVID-19 across its facilities and in the community. We are following the practice to “flatten the curve” to mitigate the spread and impact of the infection. (https://www.vox.com/2020/3/10/21171481/coronavirus-us-cases-quarantine-cancellation)

The goal of this and other preventive measures, such as handwashing, staying home when ill, and limiting travel outside the state, is to help prevent the passing of this highly infectious virus. Taking these steps now enables us to be proactive, thoughtful and coordinated.

Where does this leave Farms, Forks & Friends?

Information and data about COVID-19 and CDC recommendations are evolving every day. We are closely monitoring this activity so we may make the most informed decision possible and reschedule at a later date.

The fundraising from this event is critical to meet the needs of the mission services it supports and we remain hopeful to carry on as planned when it is safe to do so.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call 207.626.1809 or email. Thank you for your support of MaineGeneral and those we serve.

This year, we celebrate 2020 by throwing it back a century - to 1920, the start of the decade known as the “Roaring Twenties!” Join us for an evening of farm-to-table fine dining that spotlights the delicious simplicity of locally sourced spring harvest foods.

Fine dining meets friendly competition to contribute to the success of the evening benefitting several critical MaineGeneral service lines. Nothing pairs better with a great meal than great company and causes worth rallying around! You don’t want to miss this, it’s bound to be the bee’s knees!
