Chelsea residents Bill and Kitty Perry know well the importance of local health care. Having lived in the area their entire lives, they’ve relied upon MaineGeneral services throughout. In addition, Bill served on the campaign committee to build the Harold Alfond Center for Cancer Care and Kitty has been a diligent MGH Volunteer and member of our MGMC Auxiliary for years.
When they made their gift in support of the Alfond Center for Health (ACH) capital campaign in 2011, they didn’t expect it to come full circle quite like this! William Hanson, their first great, great grandbaby, arrived at the ACH on Monday, April 30. Mom and dad, Hannah and Mike, relied upon MaineGeneral services, too, and when their family of three returned to their room after delivery, they were welcomed by some familiar names on the door — a postpartum room given by Bill and Kitty Perry.

As if this occasion could be any more special, baby Will was named after his very proud great grandpa.
Congrats to Bill, Kitty and the entire Hanson family!
