Make A Gift to the HELP Program

“HELP can shorten a patient’s stay and decrease the likelihood of readmission; it can make the difference between a patient returning home or going to a long-term care facility or even, in some cases, passing away as a result of complications,”

Amy Perez-Blaisdell
HELP elder care specialist and volunteer coordinator

HELP is nationally recognized as an evidence-based way to improve patient outcomes and reduce length of stay. Your donation to HELP will offset the cost of essential items needed to maintain patient engagement and function. Simple supplies like reading glasses, hearing aid batteries, newspapers, books, and brain teasers make a world of difference in keeping elderly patients engaged and alert as they heal. If you are interested in volunteering for HELP, please contact Amy Perez-Blaisdell at (207) 626-1150.
