Join us for the 2025 Celebration of Lights

Imagine hundreds of luminaria bathing the Common in Gardiner with their warm light — not a solemn remembrance, but a celebration of life.
On December 13th at twilight, luminaria will be lit by our volunteers in a beautiful display. At 5 p.m. we will walk through the glowing luminaria on the Common and end with a brief program to celebrate those who have brought light into our lives. Luminaria will remain lit until 7 p.m. Christ Episcopal Church will be open for anyone who would like to come inside to warm up during the event.
If a snow event occurs on December 13, the Celebration of Lights will change to Sunday, December 14, 2024 at 5 p.m.
Luminaria may be purchased at the event by cash or check.
