Awarded to nursing students or to nurses employed within MaineGeneral Health who are seeking professional growth. Available in odd-numbered years only.
The Michele Joly Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to nursing students. Available annually.
Florida C. Lewin Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to nursing students from the Augusta area. Available in even-numbered years only.
Robert A. Longo Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to a nursing student who has completed at least one year of study. Preference is given to students in the mental health field. Available annually.
Ottie T. McCullum, Sr. Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to students from Augusta who are pursuing a nursing career. Available in even-numbered years only.

George Landwehr, MD Scholarship
Awarded to MaineGeneral nursing staff who are seeking to further their education. Preference is given to students in obstetrics and gynecology. Other employees or students in health-related fields may be considered. Available annually.
Sarah L. (Sadye) Martel Scholarship
Established to further education in skilled nursing care. Preference is given to nursing staff members at MaineGeneral Rehabilitation and Long Term Care (MGRLTC) at Gray Birch. Available annually.

Awarded to a Winthrop High School senior pursuing a career in health care. Available annually.
MaineGeneral Health Scholarship
Awarded to students or employees within MaineGeneral Health who are pursuing health care careers. Available annually.
MaineGeneral Medical Center Auxiliary Scholarship
Awarded to students pursuing an associate's or bachelor's degree toward a career in health care. Available annually.
MaineGeneral Medical Center Scholarship Endowment
Awarded to medical center employees or their family members who are pursuing educational opportunities in professions in which MaineGeneral Medical Center administration believes there is a demonstrated need. Available annually.
John van Summern MD Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to students pursuing a career in health care. Preference is given to students graduating from Gardiner Area High School with an interest in environmental studies and STEM. Available annually.
Mr. and Mrs. C.H. West Scholarship
Awarded to students attending Kennebec Valley Community College. They must be in their second year or later in their course of study actively pursuing a degree or certificate in a health care field practiced at MaineGeneral. Available annually.

Laboratory Scholarships
Esther Armstrong Taylor Scholarship Fund
Awarded to student technicians or technologists in the laboratory program at MaineGeneral Medical Center’s Alfond Center for Health to further study in microbiology, preferably in a degree program. Available annually.
Edith & Rufus H. Webb Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to MaineGeneral Medical Center Alfond Center for Health/University of Maine students entering the second year of the medical laboratory science program. Available annually.
MGRLTC Ken Williams Nursing Scholarship
Established to further education in nursing care. Preference is given to MGRLTC employees. Available annually.
Helen Yorks Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to MaineGeneral Medical Center/University of Maine at Augusta students entering their second year of the medical laboratory science program. Available annually.
