Leadership Giving at MaineGeneral Health

Appreciating our President's Circle Supporters

With summer slowly rolling our way, we look forward to celebrating our steadfast President’s Circle members and capital campaign leadership contributors on Monday, June 6! Laying a strong foundation of annual giving to support our mission all year through, President’s Circle contributors are recognized for their commitment to annual giving at the leadership level of $1,000 or more. This year’s 142 members have provided a sturdy $349,248 foundation for our annual campaign. These dollars are directed according to each member’s preference, ensuring their gift makes its most meaningful impact.

As a not-for-profit, MaineGeneral relies on our annual fund to:

  1. enhance our ability to subsidize mission-driven work that is essential to the health and safety of our communities but often at a neutral or financial loss to our system (i.e. mental health and substance abuse services, charity care);
  2. meet emergent needs as they arise (i.e. flu clinics for school children);
  3. continue supporting the services of most importance to you, your families, businesses and employees.

As you consider your philanthropy for the year ahead, we hope you’ll think of MaineGeneral and the system of care we extend to the 190,000 lives we serve. We invite you to join us in caring for one another with a gift of support to the area most meaningful to you. If you’d like to join the President’s Circle but $1,000 feels like too much today, consider a smaller sustaining gift given on a monthly basis. Program Support

MGH Introduces New Giving Club for 40 and Under!
Interested in joining the club, but just getting established? We have a perfect new program for you!

Are you a young professional interested in supporting local health care? Consider joining our President's Circle Junior giving Club today.

MaineGeneral hosted Cynergy, the Kennebec Valley Chamber's young professionals group, for a cooking demonstration in the teaching kitchen at the Alfond Center for Health. Health can be fun - and delicious!

We know it takes time to get established.That doesn’t discount the desire of young professionals to contribute to their charities of choice in meaningful ways. We want to honor that desire and leadership through this newly developing President’s Circle leadership giving club for contributors under the age of 40. Based on your survey feedback, we’ll develop programming throughout the year that addresses common topics and brings you in touch with experts in the field in a lunch-and-learn format.

A $500 donation is a great way to begin President’s Circle membership, and recurring payments of $42 per month make it a little easier to give while making a great impact on the health care of the Kennebec Valley.
